We’ve all heard of ‘rags to riches’ stories but the story of the coming of our Lord is, in reality, a ‘riches-to-rags’ story. He left the glory of Heaven to come to this planet. He could have been born in a most elegant mansion. He could have had high society parents who boasted of their pedigree. He could have had the finest clothes from the most exclusive shops. He could have had an army of angel servants to respond to His every whim.
But He had none of that. Instead, Jesus humbled Himself. The Creator of the universe - born in a stable in Bethlehem. And, 2 Corinthians 8:9 explains why: “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.” In Christ, God came into our world and was like any other baby who needed to be cradled, nurtured, and protected. Sadly, in many ways, the Christmas story has been romanticized. May we be careful not to do that because, those who do so, miss its raw, powerful meaning. God Almighty was born on the dirt floor of a filthy, smelly stable. Jesus left heaven to come to a stable filled with animals. He took His place in that manger so that we might have a home in Heaven with Him. -Don-

Here are some pictures from our Harvest Festival and Trunk or Treat. Enjoy! This is the first post on the new website! Welcome to primgharchurch.org! If anyone has any suggestions or questions, please use the contact form or talk to Turner directly. We will be using the blog portion of the site for two main things; we will get news and updates out about the happenings at church and around our community and Don will periodically post a message. We will occasionally try to have one of the elders post a message so you can hear from different perspectives. Our biggest update right now is that we are in the process of replacing the pews with chairs. We are still getting price quotes, but this change will happen soon. We are also looking at ways we can put bathrooms on the main floor. We welcome any input from the congregation on this issue. Please check out the calendar portion of the site, this is where we will post all upcoming events, you will also be able to submit community events. Check back often!
